I noticed Kings Seeds are offering sweet potato tubers but sadly, since the folly of Brexit, they won’t send to Ireland. You could try EU companies, or get one from a supermarket and grow from ‘slips’. Ornamental cultivars are usually available with the summer bedding plants at garden centres.

Yep, Brexit has definitely messed up our plant orders. Can no longer buy primula seeds from Barnhaven or my usual annual orders from Seedaholic (grrrr).

RHS plant finder was not very helpful either.

Ireland is not part of the UK. It is an independent sovereign country and it is in the EU.

The Republic of Ireland is part of the EU and has been since 1922 when Ireland was split into 2 separate jurisdictions. Northern Ireland (the 6 counties) is effectively part of the UK.

Yep, Rob, I always loved the printed info sheet, as well as the seeds. And definitely one of the most reliable seed companies.

Same for me with Porto Rico (very vague about geographical/political boundaries).
