Packed/compacted gravel rock base.
3-4 inches of Loose DG placed on top, not compacted. No stabilizer added to DG. It’s a fluffy sandbox.

Can this be saved at this point? I am thinking wet it, compact it with a rented machine. Likely will have to add another layer of DG so again wet and compact.

If adding another layer of DG- would it be wise to mix in a stabilizer for this top layer?

I’m looking for that hard packed look that seems to be everywhere these days (see pics).

Appreciate any advice.
