They are on an SPC or WPC core and have the UV acrylic with aluminum oxide finish. A lot of brands make these now.

We're also looking into Waterproof Hardwood from Proximity Mills. Other flooring companies scoff when they hear waterproof and hardwood together. It's odd there are no reviews. Did you end up installing?

Hi. No I didn't end up getting those. They weren't quite the right color and the veneer layer is very thin on all of the brands of waterproof hardwood that I could find. I am looking at engineered instead but still can't find a light tan that doesn't look rustic.

Engineered wood is available with a water resistant layer now. I’m curious as well.
