window covering HELP for master bedroom

Hello! We just got our custom curtains and woven wood blinds installed and dislike how it turned out. We are going for a relaxing spa like vibe in our room and the window trtreatments make it feel like a hotel. Issue 1: We went with the reps recommendation of installing curtains the ceiling. We have a 8ft ceiling so the black rod attached there made it feel so low and your eyes went right to it when walking in. The fabric is also stiff and very white. Should be more of a linen type. (First image) Issue 2: we love the woven woods but the size/ placement seems off. The right and left were to far in (image 2 & 3) so we had them move them out (image 4). That part looks better now but the spacing in between is very big. Any recommendations on how to make this look better? Thank you in advance!!

I like them.

But I think you need to finish the room then revisit the windows....you are not seeing the completed room but rather the room frame.

Do you have an inspiration room? If not look on Houzz. This room has large windows and long curtains; see the end tables, lamps, chandelier, nightstands easy chairs,bench at foot of bed. Keep working on finishing the room. Good luck. you have a nice start.

I think the drapes look good. I agree with Susan, the room isn't done yet. Maybe look at rugs next. Something with a subtle pattern if you want to keep it spa-like. For a king sized bed you are looking for a 9 X 12.
