Although it has not been stained yet and the builder is asking us which color we want it stained.
Is the stain color on this pic good?
Will it look good with the bricks we have?

I'd probably coordinate the exterior stain to match with the garage doors and trim (but it's hard to tell from the photos you've provided) - but if that's too dark (and it may be), a different contrasting stain could also work. There is absolutely no rule or reason why you'd need to coordinate the stain of the door with the stain of your floors - often, the door is painted so not even remotely close to the floor color.

I like the door. I would go light to define the entrance. dark makes it look like a black hole.

I'd also paint the garage doors, they are too heavy, to compliment the brick, light, so they blend into the siding, not contrast and detract from the beautiful style of the home.

I am wondering if I should just stick to a light color stain that might be similar to the floor color. Any thoughts?

The builders could not match the stairs with the floor color
So the designer suggested the color that you see in the pic.
Now the designer is suggesting that i match entry door with stairs and I don’t really like that.
