You won’t like a wider tower…get wide mirrors and center in each space under lights. It will look like it was a plan.

RM- so if I center mirror on the wall and center the light on the mirror it won’t be centered with the faucet and sink. Do you think that looks better than having everything centered but having mire ‘wall space’ on the tower side?

Center the mirrors and light fixtures over the sinks. It's OK if there is more room on the one side.

I agree center the mirrors and lights on the sinks and IMO ditch the tower and gain counter space . You have very little counter already and IMO counter space trumps storage but if the tower must stay then certainly no bigger

Center faucets, mirrors, and lights over the center drain line on the sink. It will look fine. Once everything is installed, painted, decorated, it will feel balanced.

What is the purpose of the tower? Medicine cabinet? It feels overpowering to the rest of the counter.

I would ditch the tower, have a custom mirror made to fit the entire space, and then make a “frame” for the mirror. More useful than two tiny mirrors and very little countertop space.

Get large mirrors that fill the space between the tower and the side walls and go all the way up to the ceiling. You won't notice the sink placement. I'm a fan of installing sconces on top of the mirror. It's a cleaner look. See examples:

You’re right, I won’t like a wider tower. There is counter space in front of the tower although that’s hard to see in the picture. Contractor recommended tower for more storage.

I’m torn since I can’t find any solution that I like other than starting over which is not an option.

The tower is taking up too much actual and visual space. Every time you open a drawer or door you will knock off anything placed in front of it. Towers should be to one side, if at all. A free standing linen closet is preferable.

And contractors aren’t designers. They often make terrible suggestions. Ask here before doing something a contractor added to a design.

The tower seems to be the problem, it fights the skylight as well as the sink and light situation. That said to answer your initial question presuming you want the tower. First thought was oval mirror. Second thought is center the sconce between the wall and the tower and mirror the whole wall, floating the light on the mirror. It’s hard to tell the style of the space overall…

I totally agree with frugalgirl! By making the entire area on either side of the tower mirrored the dimensional differences go away.
