My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Stair Renovation Question!

Hi everyone,
We are finishing up our stair remodel. I have the option of changing the bottom step of my new stairs. This should have been decided before we began the renovation but this is the situation I am currently in. The style of renovation is contemporary and that is why I'm considering changing the bottom step.
Should we leave the bottom step round, as is, square it off so it's the same size but square, or should we cut it down to square but closer to the posts?
Please let me know. Thanks!

    Looks good as is and easier on the shins than a corner :)
