If you look at the pictures on Houzz you'll see that people use both and combinations as well in their baths and kitchens. There is no right or wrong answer. It's personal preference. Sometimes the overall look you're going for will lead you to one or the other, but even then there is still room for personal preference. We built in 2021 and I used knobs on cabinet doors and drawers and pulls on cabinet doors and drawers, depending on the room, look I wanted and function.

Completely up to your taste. I always recommend to my customers to use knobs on door and pulls on drawers. I’d like that.

Hardware on your cabinets is like choosing jewelry for your outfit. No rules. When I had my kitchen renovated a few years ago; several friends and family members strongly suggested all pulls, as knobs can get caught on clothing. I always prefer knobs on doors and pulls on drawers. My second choice would be all pulls. Make certain it is just one pull per drawer and of course it will be one knob per door. This minimizes hardware clutter, and drawer function is better in the long run when its being pulled from the middle, rather than from one side as often happens when you choose to install two pulls on a drawer.

I find that knobs inevitably get loose with frequent use. They will not work well on heavy drawers.

I have both - as others have posted knobs on the doors and pulls on the drawers.

It makes functional sense because of the way that you use them. Typically drawers are a bit heavier than a door and so the pull is sturdier. It also seems to provide a more balanced look aesthetically.

To add to the mix I have a door in my bathroom that actually opens with a small metal inobtrusive finger type of pull because I wanted to be able to open that door when I was standing to the right of it but aesthetically a knob would have looked strange in that location - it is one of two doors flanking my bathroom sink. Works really well.

There are various options, based on taste and the drawer/cabinet configuration. Maybe look on line for some similar to yours, which cluld also help with decisions for style and size.
