Maybe its one of those Austin undercover roses lol..I remember when some people would buy a rose at the big box stores with a wrong tag and then dug in the pot and find an Austin tag! I got a few that way.

Who is the SH grower, Alameda?

In small letters on the tag it says Altman Plants. They are in Troup, Tx near me. I looked at their website but no mention of any roses - so maybe more information will come out on this one later on. Leaves look very shiny and healthy and there are lots of buds. Hoping to find more information on it.........

It looks like they carry the TrueBloom roses at the CA location, at least. Maybe theyre growing their rose side. .

I saw Strong Heart at my Lowes today too! Also saw True Love. Both were gorgeous. And I was self controlled enough to let them there.

I bought one today on the clearance rack 50% off so I paid about $12. Looks really healthy and says hardiness zones 5B to 10

3' x 3' full sun. Worth a try for $12

I got a strong heart. It isn't red, it's magenta. Large flowers & it's stunning! VERY fragrant long stemmed rose. Very happy with it!

Be funny if it was something like True Endearment, temp branded for a sales line.

Sometimes when a brand new rose comes out there is not a whole lot of information avaliable. But if it has been out for a while and there is no information on it, be suspicious of the quality of the rose. you might find more information on a site called Help Me aidentify. pick plants then roses. Then type in the name of your rose.

Cam, the correct name of the website is Help Me Find.

I wonder if this isn't an off-brand version of Braveheart which I think is still patented. It looks a lot like those blooms, but I'm not great at rose ID. Braveheart is a prolific bloomer too in that kind of dark red.
