After reading about the marvelous Mrs. B. R. Cant rose preferring warmer zones, I cancelled my order but, I received it anyway. So this weekend I planted it in a the most protected place I've got, about 8 feet away from a wind-blocking retaining wall and also up close to the house foundation with southern exposure. I was wondering if there are any new updates on growing it maybe similarly protected even though everything I've read so far doesn't sound hopeful.

When I enter my zip code here https://planthardiness.ars.usda.gov/ it states 6b. I was thinking maybe I've got a 7b micro-zone in that spot I planted her.

Will I get blooms this year at least? Maybe there is something similar I can replace it with next year if it dies. :(
