New door thoughts?

Please show me your pictures and share your thoughts. We just installed our new door, which I love. Contractor plans to add metal clad to the bottom of the threshold where the stucco fell off. We are thinking of painting all the trim and metal clad black. Also thinking of adding a 6 inch header above the door, but I’m a little nervous it will look funny. Appreciate your thoughts and ideas. 😀
