. I had cutpile wool broadloom installed two months ago and unfortunately after one month I noticed a bald spot on the landing due to tuft loss. So far the retailer doesnt want to budge, stating its hard to say who‘s at fault. The carpet manufacturer is pointing to the fact that I sometimes wear (clean) rubber soled shoes in the house and is currently reviewing my vacuum choice. Thankfully I have a Miele intended for use on wool carpet. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced a similar issue so soon after installation. I should also add that this area was powerstretched by the retailer as it didnt quite meet the wall at first. TIA
