The first is Onoclea sensibilis -Sensitive fern. We often need to see the spores on the backs of the leaves to make a positive ID on the others.

I will take pictures of the back tomorrow.

I think it is much too early for the spores to be present yet. Early to mid summer if I recall correctly.

are those in a "wood" of a garden or in actual woodland, not planted?

no 2,: does it feel soft? gardners/ botanists gut feeling perhaps Athyrium filix-femina

no3: perhaps a Polystichum because it looks shiny, should feel somewhat harder

Both #1 & #2 are in the woodlands (I did not plant). #3 is in my garden (planted by previous owner).
