Each of these roses blooms in clusters and puts on a spectacular spring display:

The rose Paul Barden Identified a couple of years ago as Russell's Cottage Rose--everyone who sees my roses wants to take a picture of it or get one like it. I have two and they start early and continue throughout most of the season. This year we are having a long season because of the cool weather.

La Tourterelle or the Dove (picture attached)--this is a rose few have seen but it blooms in huge clusters (as many as 35-40) on sturdy stems. Flowers are soft pick, about 2 inches across and heavy with many petals, a rosette form and button eye in the style of pink Gallicas like Belle Isis or the Duchess of Montebello. One cluster is sufficient for a flower arrangement. It will ball in wet weather and has no scent, but is not prone to blackspot, even though one of its neighbors has the worst blackspot in my garden.

Belle Isis has long canes with many laterals that produce clusters of perfect pink, wonderfully-scented rosettes. Not the first to bloom but an early bloomer and last year it was the last to finish.
