My Jeffersonia dubia, growing in this spot for 3 - 4 years. This year it produced nice seed pods, hoping that it starts to seed itself around a bit.

Shade plants are very cool!

Jeffersonia dubia is a real gem, can produce masses of blooms and foliage grows into a substantial mound that holds up for the season, plants seed around gently.

My trillium 'Snow Bunting' is now blooming, wish it would bulk up a bit more. This year I have a large number of asclepias purpurascens on the go, said to be challenging in the seedling stage, but mine were off to the races from the get go! I guess, this plant appreciates afternoon shade. Photo from the net.

I LOVE cornus canidensis and will have to be on the lookout for thalictrum kiusianum!

it looks happy and some of those seedlings might be tk volunteers (also, geraniums are self seeding like crazy, enough already ;))

I battle equisetum, so time to get down on my hands and knows to snap about a thousand of them off
