I think no. 2 is Lavatera acerifolia.

Lovely perhaps A. ciliatum or consanguineum var.

Malva sp. is also possible.

It certainly appears to be Lavatera, or Malva acerifolia. The projecting stigma is what made me suspect Hibiscus, but near enough, as they are very closely related. From the size of it, I wondered if it was some sort of herbaceous species, but obviously not.

As for the Arisaema, it could be, as you suggest, peren, one of the consanguineum varieties, but I have come across A. concinnum, green form, which matches both colour and size, but I'm not convinced.

I might try dropping them an email, or visit during the week when the gardening staff are around.
