Gorgous room with classic, timeless furniture. Any sort of art would work! Choose something you adore, don't worry about "matching." You could do a framed print of an art master (Renoir, for example), something totally modern and abstract, vintage movie or travel posters. I hope you will let us know what you choose!

Any thoughts to changing the wall color...light teal will liven the room and show off the coral scents nicely.

Art is very personal but here are some ideas with hints of coral (and a bunch of other colors!).

Your style is very eclectic and that couch is timeless so I'm thinking this room is calling for a persian rug which is also timeless. There are so many choices but just to give you an idea.....

I understand. Can happen to anyone. New sheers? Call me OCD, but if I walked into your room, it would be hard for me to appreciate all of your other very lovely things because I would be so distracted by the length of curtains.

Local art! Hate when people have stock images of art. Somewhere in you town or near by their is a piece of art or a photo that will speak to you. Half the fun is looking for that piece and it will add your character to your home.

Could you lower the sheers and add a valance or cornice? That could cover any holes. Been there done that. ;)

@juliekl, agree with BathGems,com Paintings do not need to match a color in the room. Sure, it is nice to have the colors from the painting in the room, but it doesn't have to be. It is a piece of art. I don't know where you live, but, here we find about local artist at the local coffee shop. They have some of the paintings displayed so one can see their style.
