Is this wallpaper job good?

Hey! First time having wallpaper done in my home. Please let me know if this looks good, bad, ugly!

This looks like Thibaut. Um, it's okay. It's not great, it's not terrible, it's about what I see with decreasing skill sets in the crafts.

I had three rooms done by a guy and he sent his son and another guy to do a fourth room because it's not a paper that needs to be matched. (The dad is Zuber certified, he's great). And...the son, not so good, some of the seems look like this. Just not quite there, a little "scraped" looking. I'm not thrilled but its still better than a lot that I see. I was going to do one more room and I decided not to. It's a shame because wallpaper is coming back with a vengeance and I don't think the old skill set is there any more.

As for the mismatch, it's matched at the top and you lose it a bit at the bottom and I think that's something that's hard to avoid with this type of print

Its not perfect, if you are viewing it close up, but, no one is going to do that, but, you. When you look at the wall as a whole, its very pretty. Its not the easiest print to match.

It's beautiful paper and I don't think many would ever notice the tiny offset. The part that would bother me is the white lines. So I would find a color matched pencil and fill that in a little. Hopefully, you have some scraps to try different colors on until you get a good match. A pencil can be sharpened so finely that only the white will be colored.

Pencils to look at would be Berol Prismacolor. They also make watercolor markers with a very fine tip on one end.

I just had this same wallpaper installed in my powder room, but in a different color way. The installer was terrible! We’re going to have it redone- but part of me is concerned that it’s the actual paper that may cause problems. The seams are white on mine as well and it seems to scratch very easily.

There are air bubbles everywhere, but I think that was the actual installer. I’m so sad, because I love this paper!

Oh and some of the bubbles - drove me crazy but he explained that’s why they sanded down all our walls. I guess the texture of the wall behind in our 1974 house isn’t perfect! Ugh!! I don’t think wallpaper is for the perfectionist.

I love your wallpaper. I think it’s busy enough that only you would see it because you know where to look. I think the trim and ceiling painted to match the color of your mirror would tie it all together. The ceiling might make it dark and maybe all the little things that you see might be less noticeable? It’s beautiful regardless. 😀
