Question about Bermuda Spice

I rooted a cutting from a rose in an old New Orleans cemetery that I believe might be the China/Tea rose Spice, aka Bermuda Spice.

For those who currently grow it, does the foliage have a nice spicy scent as well? I had it once long ago, but can't remember.
