New Concrete Driveway Question

last modified: 3 years ago

It's my first time having a driveway poured, which was three days ago. I noticed a few things that, as layman I can only describe as "off". The first photo was a "ridge" that looks like it wasn't smoothed out, for lack of a better description. I'm guessing that isn't supposed to be there, and it's about 4 feet in length. My concern is that where it's diverting water will end up right next to the house, instead of draining down towards the street. I'm very new to this, and just trying to make sure that I'm not being given bad workmanship while also trying to avoid being overly critical as a total amateur in this field. Any advice or opinion is greatly appreciated, and I'd be especially grateful for any advice on how to fix it.

The second photo is of the new curb meeting the edge of the older curb.

The next was where the driveway. curb, and street intersect.

The next is the horizontal section where the driveway meets the street.

I also have an area where, for lack of a better description, there is "splash" staining of some kind.
