This daylily was a bonus and when I looked it up, I didn't want it and put it in a dishpan of water. It stayed there through the fall and winter, and it froze with the water in the dishpan.

When spring came, it popped up and soon put up a bloom scape. My husband said if it wants to live that bad, keep it and so I plante dit next to the Japanese Magnolia and it bloomed on.

With the magnolia gone, it really blooms now and is very tall with more than half of the blooms not double. I learned to like ie, probaably because it is so tall and blooms so much and is a nice light color.
