Something like this mockups? This lath was made from shorter mixed pieces of wood, laid brick style, but full length pieces would provide a cleaner look.

I lije Sigrid’s suggestion. The horizontal wood strips look pretty bad after a few years even with maintainence , in my experience. They’re popular ( trendy ) where I live so I see lots of examples. iwould beef up the posts on your porch also.

Yeah I think I’d want to paint the garage the trim color though so it doesn’t blend too much. Ugh I like the wood but okay. Yeah we wanna beef up the posts but can’t do too much cause the porch is pretty narrow also but still want to do some.

Wait.... so far all three responders say paint the garage door the same color as the siding on the body of the house.

Okay forget the lath.

If you like black, consider Charcoal. Same effect but a little softer. You could consider painting the upper left bumpout section a different saturation of the same color. Or even a different color.

Hi Courtney! I really like the olive green house, actually. I think the place could use some updating and possibly a richer tone of green, but I quite like the way the house is headed. Yeah I love that! I’m not against the green either, I just know it needs enhanced! How would I do that without changing the roof?
