Blooming on Monday

The temperatures have dropped (81 degrees right now), but there is still no rain in sight. The first year diploid seedlings continue to open and the tet seedlings are beginning also.

Crossing a red diploid with a yellow is either producing brown or stipples, sometimes brown with stipples. Here are some first blooms today. These are all small flowers.

Pardon Bob's hand but it was the only way to get the pictures. I wonder if this little one is a spider. It is Adavier X O Positve.

Yellow with stipples--Itsy Bitsy Spider X O Positive

These seedlings are tets and full-sized flowers.

Geometric Wizard X (Curious Cutie X Impressionist Sky

Lava Flow X Gary Lynn's Calliopsis siblings. The one on the left needs to go. It can look good, but it often doesn't. There are really too many flowers to get a good picture.

I can't help but post the martagon lilies again, but this time with names.

Unfortunately, I don't know the name of this one. It's the easiest to photograph because the flowers face out instead of down.

Houzz is not posting my last picture. When I try to edit, it's there, but when I post it disappears. Now that I think of it, I think the name of this one is Orange Marmalade.

Still liking the martagon lilies! That orange Lava Flow seedling is gorgeous!

The brown with stipples don't do it for me, but the yellow with stipples does! The Lava Flow seedling impresses me.

I don't care for brown either, but I like that one, the yellow too though. I really like the Lava Flow seedling too. And the lillies are gorgeous. I don't have Martgons, not much luck with them, but I have a couple with that downward facing form. I think that might be a complaint with them for me, hard for me to really enjoy unless they are really tall. Mine are not. Such pretty flowers though.

Love seeing the lilies! I believe the swuirrels leave these bulbs alone??? I like the yellow stippled seedling, dont care for the brown blooms.

I like seeing your lilies. I believe I had similar type (different colors) in NY. I haven't found any online to add them here but will keep looking. Still dry here too. No rain until "possibly" late next week.
