Congratulations on embarking on your new project, and good for you that you are doing it after Covid!

I am a little confused about the drawer pulls. Champagne gold and brass are different colors, or at least they looked very different on the internet samples.

In any event, there is no such thing as a kitchen monitor.

You can do whatever you want. You are the one that is going to live there.

The most important thing to me would be your water- is it hard with lots of mineral deposits, calcium, etc and which type of faucet would be less likely to show damage from that type of water ? I would get get that finish. And additionally, I wouldn't spend a fortune on a fancy bells and whistles faucet that will look corroded in a few years that you will want to replace (through no fault of your own, that's just what what your water does to fixtures.)

If that's not an issue, never mind, as Emily Litella from Saturday Night Live used to say. (Or is that before your time ?)

Regarding the aesthetics of it all, it certainly isn't problematic to do light fixtures that differ from your drawer handles.

A black faucet can look very nice.

So can black or dark charcoal lower cabinets.

Black upper and lowers can be exciting, but also overwhelming.

You can break it up with white walls and a white counter or marble counter and white backsplash.

Or just do black lowers and white uppers.

I do love a matte black backsplash in a good size hexagon tile, that is just so sexy!

Maybe that is too modern.

Absolutely! What you describe sound like it will be gorgeous.

If you are worried about it though, you could pick a black faucet or black pendants that have a little bit of gold on it as well.

I would go with stainless steel so it didn't stand out. You have lots of beautiful elements and I wouldn't want to pull the eye to the black sink faucet.

I think cabinet hardware is like jewery it works best when not confused with too many other things going on . I would stick with stainless for the faucet and just do the cabinets in the other finish.

I actually agree with the other comments. I would do a stainless faucet and the gold cabinet hardware.

I feel like with the white cabs and the lighter version of the Taj Mahal, it would look better and more elegant. Not such a harsh contrast.

Although, I have seen kitchen with all three metal colors, but it is done very carefully in a subtle and beautiful way.

I think you could still bring in the black metal on the pendants or bar stools, etc, or a pendant that is a combination of black and gold.

It is just a matter of finding the right balence so the three metals are subtly repeated around the space.
