Today's flowers are covered in raindrops and I am so happy. We probably got about an inch--much needed here.

Here are some named varieties that weathered the weather.

Geometric Wizard--first nice bloom of the season

Now for some seedlings

Rosie Cotton's Ribbons X Love All Serve All--earned its blue ribbon today

Ebony Pools X Eggplant Luminosity--love the color

Pink Stripes X Perfect Pose--looks a little banged up--can't wait to see a good one

Just Like Candy X Jammins Lipstick Kisses--Pardon Bob's leg

This is one of Bob's Fulva crosses. The great grand parent of this seedling is Fulva 'Korean'. The cross is ((F. Korean X Empire of Dawn and Dusk) X Sonoran Desert Rose) X Red Eyed Queen. This is just a first year bloom.

The blooms look lovely with the raindrops! I’m jealous…all we got was drizzle. That means 1/2” of rain for the past 6 weeks : (.

So glad you got that much-needed rain! I absolutely love Ebony Pools X Eggplant Luminosity and the Just Like Candy seedling. Those are both fantastic! Geometric Wizard is looking good, and so is Daddy's Heart.

Geometric Wizard is so pretty. I first saw it when you posted it anad really liked it and got it first chance. It has been so good here this year especially. It bloomed April 25th through most of June and is now reblooming with four new scapes. Beautiful too. Love Rosie Cotton's Ribbons X Love All Serve All- Very pretty one, Is it fairly tall? Ebony Pools X Eggplant Luminosity has beautiful rich colors. another nice one. I like Bob's Fulva cross too, Pretty colors and a pretty bloom.

The Pink Stripes seedling has a lot of stripes. Does Pink Stripes have that many? But I haven't been that impressed with Perfect Pose here. The first two seedlings, especially Eggplant, look very good. How does the seedling differ from parent Eggplant L? Blue Ribbon means? Saved?

I'm with Debra on the Ebony Pools seedling. It's very appealing. Rich colors. Hope to see more post of it after it's dried off...........The other one I like is I Dreamed a Dream. Had to look it up. Nice form for a small one........Maryl

Raindrops on blooms means happy plants! Your Ebony Pools seedling has such a rich color combination and I like the look on the Just Like Candy seedling. The Pink Stripes seedling is very interesting. Perfect photo of Geometric Wizard. Like Kay, mine bloomed a long time-has a few more buds to go but has put up one rebloom scape. A really good plant for me. You have some very good seedlings-what fun that must be!

Mantis, I guess I should have explained the 'blue ribbon'. We use blue flagging tape to mark the ones that are to be moved to the select bed. We dig the blue flagged ones and move them to their own spot and then we mow off and till under the rest. We try to go out every morning to make selections.
