Today really picked up

Everything opened late today. Second day in a row with a low around 49 degrees. Beautiful today, low humidity and 72ish. My water pump came today so can start pumping water from the creek.

Always short, my only double. Great color and neatly layered. Probably the only double I will ever keep. Most doubles look messy to me.

Siloam Amazing Grace x Indian Giver Bitone. The sepals are just a touch lighter.

Smoky Mt. Autumn x Jolyene Nichole 2. Takes 2 days to open, 2 days to close. Worth it.

We got the flowers to the left of the big pot at an Amish nursery. The purple one i Pericallis. The red and white one is Gerbera Daisy-which needs a ton of water; can hard skip a day without it drooping.

It looks like you have quite a bit blooming now. Amethyst Art and Applique look wonderful! My favorite of the seedlings is the near white Siloam Amazing Grace X Indian Giver. It gives me a peaceful feeling.

I’m going to comment before this post disappears!! I love the color on the Smoky Mt Autumn seedling and the SAG seedling is indeed perfect. Love your other flowers. We have an Amish community but I have never seen flowers there, just vegetables.

I really like the white seedling, nice form on it. How old is it now ? it is good to see theblooming starting in earnest for you.

Amethyst Art is what I think is called a hose-in-hose double. It does indeed display neatly a flower within a flower. As for the Jolyene seedling, I have too many bugs to enjoy things that open the night before.

I'll say things picked up. Lots of pretty ones this time. I especially like your Smokey Mountain seedling, Barbara Mitchell and your pot of Coleus. I'm assuming these are the shade loving coleus (Wizard mix usually). I grow the sun Coleus and they are a valuable addition to my hot climate landscape plants............Maryl
