I was not able to take my mature oak leaf hydrangea so waiting for new one to fill up...

I am blessed with my own well so my drainage efforts ladt year and ability to water as much as I need are paying off. I agree, sometimes it is small things that count. My powder keg almost did not survive the move but has buds coming!

Thanks for the compliments! the daylily is named Before, got it from an online seller a few years ago. No deer here in suburbia, the bunnies are my curse.

Debra, neither my friend or I in the market for hostas as well. Because I am not going this year on any tours I just want to relax and see more hosta gardens. Uniquely has 2 locations with displays gardens, I have been to one, it is magnificent. Thanks to you I got my Banana tree and it is very 😊

I wish we could “like” the OPs photos because your hostas are looking great, Sherry. Dancing Queen is so pretty when it’s still yellow. Your combinations with the other plants are beautiful! And good idea to start a thread for what’s going right!

Lindalana, having your own well water is a blessing to be sure! You are another one with a pretty woodland area, and I like the look of your wood fence. It will be interesting to see what all those hosta babes grow into.

If you are going to LOTG, can you please ask them if they are really accepting mail orders? We were discussing them at our last hosta meeting and it seems like they are doing that again. I would order quite a few. I would like to go there but won't have a chance. I know it's a couple of hours north of downtown Chicago I90/I94 but I know that I won't have time to go there. We have family in Chicago and visit there but have not been up to Wisconsin in a long time.

But posting here jarred my memory because today it just popped into my head, Silk Kimono! Not super common, but I've had it for so long I felt bad for not remembering. I'll probably have some more that need IDing as I'm playing catch up with my garden.

Sherry we would never know you are having a bad year looking at your pics! I am so glad you posted this because we need to celebrate the successes. Coast to Coast is fabulous! Deer got to mine before I sprayed. Dancing Queen is always a joy.
