Just wanted to add, I’ve had good longevity/performance from the Anker brand power cables.

Do you know which ipad you have, there are multiple usb cords, non interchangeable.

Go to settings, General, About. Your model will be displayed. Then google: usb cord for ipad model………

I have found Apple to be very responsive if you call their customer service #. They can tell you exactly what to get. If you have a Best Buy, they also carry Apple products.

yes, charger has a smallish port/opening — 1/2 inch. :)
