recommendation setting the cabinets on each side of limestone hood

I have a limestone hood over a 60 inch range. I am going to revise my cabinets and set them a bit more away from the limestone hood while running my backsplash up to the ceiling at 11-10 feet. I would like to know how far to set the cabinets on each side of the hood.

May I send a photo?

    Great question! I recommend a minimum of 6” so you can see the stone on each side and so the tile installer is able to do it with ease. Hope this helps!
