Love Gopher Teeth, and I actually like the curving of John Bassilli. The twisting of One Hot Mama is so fun.

Bill Norris is an excellent yellow. It will always have a place in our garden.

This is a seedling from Sandy Holmes. I don't know the parentage. It is quite tall.

The Queen of the Garden title is shared today by these two siblings. The cross is Pink Stripes X Perfect Pose. I was hoping for a larger flat faced blooms with stripes and that's what we got. It remains to be seen if they have a decent bud count.

The diploid queen title is shared by the following daylilies.

This is O Positive X Ahoya. One thing we are find out is that there seems to be less variation among dip siblings compared to the tets. This one seems to be the most saturated color of the ones that have bloomed so far.

I also like Twiggy X Out of Balance.

All the queens are appealing, but especially again the O Positive seedling. Is One Hot Mama consistent for you? Many find it marginally hardy, with low bud count.

I DO like the color and the form of Gopher Teeth (what a name!) One Hot Mama and Ratttle Snake Rake look good. Bill Norris is a nice yellow. I like your inprovement on Pink Stripes much better than the original. And,I like This is O Positive X Ahoya . Good hot post today.

I agree with Nancy. Recurved daylilies I like but I tend to call it "rolling back" lol. One Hot Mama is twirling which makes it distinctive. Good pic of it. I agree with Kay. I don't dislike the color on Gopher Teeth but those teeth are quite gnarly.

Mantis, I love the flower of One Hot Mama, but I don't believe it has ever reached its registered stats. It definitely not 44 inches tall. It has made a small clump over several years. This year is not a good year to judge as it seems that the bud counts are lower on just about everything, but One Hot Mama has two scapes with about 4 buds on each.

I love recurved petals because that makes the flowers look so round. So John Bassili is my favorite. Optical Art is a neat one.
