To identify it, check for manufacturer's labels or marks. They might be underneath the base or they may be harder to locate (or there might not be any at all).

Sure, your mother might be right, but if you can actually ID the maker, you'll have a better idea if she really IS right!

It looks 60s/70s to me. Very sweet but may not bring a lot of money.

It is a vintage, (1970's?) Victorian hurricane lamp.

Shade and base are decorated with applied bronze flowers.

There are some which command a bit of change, but I doubt yours in one of them because of the hardware. If is of value, there should be a mark on the underside of base.

If you find a buyer, I'd say just what the sticker says...$45.00 and lucky if you get $80.00
