Plaster Range Hood

We are remodeling and planning on a plaster hood cover. We are doing the general work ourselves and wondering how we go about organizing the plaster hood cover. Trying to avoid a DIY…
It looks like there is framing, drywall and plaster involved, but is there someone I should be looking for a profession who does them regularly?

The general contractor of the job does them. That would be you. They are big issues to create and have meet fire codes. Be sure you understand those fire codes. They are not easily cleanable either, if you get the insert and MUA wrong.
