is privacy an issue? light filtering or darkness?

What is the style of this space? Are you done with it or still in progress?

woven wood or bamboo blinds for that one wall would look like this

you could do the same type on either side of the bed windows.

This type of design would look nice in your room. the bed, the rugs, the light (instead of the fan) some nightstands,

Or, what about something like this? (imagine your windows where the picture is hanging) I like the wood trim work on the one wall and the color. but you could also do black.

I'd leave the windows above the bed as is, and you could do something like this w/the two on the side

another option, do drapes on the side windows w/some pull down shades, (drapes pulled from one side only) and if you have the room, you could do some drapes or blinds across the tiny windows

regarding the cats, give them a nice cat tree by one of the windows. these are my goofballs

or do some cat shelves. I put this cat tree on the side of my tv, above it we made a sturdy shelf, and on the other side of that, an old dresser door bolted to the wall stud, painted and padded w/carpet. they like it!

for the blinds, you could get the bamboo or woven woods w/the blackout liner

or try something like these cordless cellular honeycomb shades (these are in my sons room. they're Bali and I got therom blinds.com. lots of selections, great customer service)

Great options, the room gets really bright in the morning and we would like some blackout options, we also have three cats that love climbing on top of the headboard and looking out the windows.

@Beth H. :Your cats are too adorable and love that you design for their needs. I had a cat tree in front of a window that my cat loved for enjoying the view. When he finally died of old age, I just couldn't remove it even though I had no need for it anymore. Two years later some friends did an intervention and removed it to give to a neighbor who rescued cats.

@Aselya I would do blackout pleated shades for the windows and even the door. They basically disappear when raised and they are super easy to push up and down. Or do roller shades. I find they're a little more prone to issues than pleated shades but I've never bought custom ones. Then, once you've finalized other things in the room, I"d add drapes on the left and right side of the windows by the bed, you can have them draw to only one side of the window as it looks like you have limited space between the windows and the bed. Add drapes to the window by the door if they fit the overall look of what's in the room.

Here's some really nice look like custom roller shades. Probably motorized. The cats can play with the remote and entertain themselves!
