There are rain barrel systems but not too attractive usually . I need to see the issue I have plants in pots that need watering because they are where the rain really just does not do the job . I just water by hand when needed Maybe a drip irrigation kind of set up might work . I need to see the situation so post pics here in a comment DO NOT start another post .

You don't want to direct rainwater toward your house - a wet foundation is not what you want. Drip irrigation may be a solution.

We have a garden and flowers around our home. And now in the process of doing it for our new home. We have 6' overhang. I will purchase a 250 gal. clean tank and have the rainwater fill it directed by the rain gutters. It will have the same siding and paint as the house. And have my water system plumbed into it. With a water drip system for certain plants or soaker hose in the garden beds. Easy clean and not very expensive and will last a long time. Have fun with your yard

The best solution is to install a drip irrigation system for those plants that are under the overhang. I have the same issue and that's what I did.

The big overhang are there so rain water from the roof does not come towards the house, so move the plants.
