We are putting slate tiles over our existing concrete patio and fixing the slope. This is a low budget project. I was wondering if adding talavera tiles every 2-3 sq feet in the border will go with slate. Talavera is usually put with saltillo tiles. Not sure what kind of border will go with slate. I wanted some color and have been crazy about talavera but don't want to make a mistake if these don't blend well. Does anyone have any suggestions?
