Thanks Kay! Confessions of a Hemaholic is a bit taller than in previous years but still not as tall as Judy registered it. August Frost always puts on a nice late show.

Confessions of a Hemaholic caught my eye right off the bat. It's a stand out.......... The new Derrow one is pretty. I have grown a couple of his in the distant past and they faded in our heat so I've not paid much attention to his more recent ones. I don't remember what their names were now, but one was yellow I think. Of course there is his Star Lord and it looks like it holds pretty well for you and I love it. This one is a nice color and hopefully it will be sunfast for you. I wish you luck with it in your hybridizing............Maryl

Betwixt and Between is lovely, I am a bicolor fan, wish I had more. I wish my El Desperado looked like yours, mine is in too much shade now…..darn tree shade.

The seedling looks great, teeth are tiny so I like it. You have so many nice seedlings its hard for me to remember how often or if I’ve seen them.

Sherry - I know what you mean about shade. I have way too many daylilies struggling with shade now. That's why I will be moving a lot more out later in the year. I like bicolor and bitones, and I have several that I can cross with Betwixt and Between. Here is what the seedling looked like earlier in June when it was cool:

Maryl - I had to have Confessions of a Hemaholic just because of the name, but now it's a nice clump in the later season. I know you had the Derrow yellow Butter Me Up at one time, but you said it faded badly in your heat. I don't remember the other one you had. The ones I have fare pretty well here. I think I grow 10 of his now.

OOh Betwixt and Between is such a pleasant color combo. Nice teeth on the seedling and beautiful shade of purple. I also love Cardinal Desire.

Haha Energizer Bunny. All clumps are great, my favorite are Confessions of a Hemaholic (funny name) and August Frost.

Gotta love the clumps here. August Frost looks great and I always like your clumps of Kentucky Lucky. Great clump of Confessions-I think a lot of us can relate! The seedling is quite pretty. I miss my show on El Desperado this year (red insect buffet). Yours looks great!

Kate - Those red lily beetles really got a lot of your good clumps. I always enjoy my late blooming clumps. I just wish they could continue longer.
