We’ve been living in this house for a couple of years now and we are needing to do some costly repairs to the pool area (resurfacing the pool, replacing the pool deck, and replacing/repairing the retaining wall around the pool). $$$. So instead of just repairing, we are hoping to upgrade the space. Our major issues are that we have no covered space so we would love to add a pavilion or pergola somewhere, and the pool also feels very disconnected from the house and we are hoping to make it feel more integrated. I’ve thought about widening the stairs down from the deck and expanding out the fence with more “patio” between, if that even makes sense? Anyone have any ideas?
