The pine trees are now off of the daylily beds. Considering what they have gone through, they don't look that bad. I think we can identify them. The Kincaid markers are bent, but still there.

Our plan is to remove all of the daylilies in the crushed beds and put them in temporary bed. We will divide the big ones. Next spring we will prepare a new bed where the old one was and replant the ones we want to keep. The rest we will sell.

The seedlings will stay where they are until next year when we can identify them and move out the ones that didn't make the cut. Their tags are destroyed. The tags were bamboo stakes with the embossable aluminium tag tied on. They didn't fare as well as the Kincaid markers.

Here are a few pictures. The brown area to the back is where the trees have been cut down. Look how much space we have now!

The orange flower (Gryphon Hankow Legacy) was on the edge of the bed and didn't get crushed.

It stormed this morning and most of the flowers are not picture worthy. I did get two photos.
