I am looking for specific guidance on stain colors for my white oak railings. I've tested several stains and special walnut and weathered oak seem to be the top contenders, although both can give off a yellow hue at times. The top sample board is weathered oak and the bottom is special walnut. I have also attached two inspo photos.

I love the color of white oak color, but think it's possibly too stark against my floor. I am NOT looking for a dark stain, but something with a little more brown in it to tie the space together (and that have specific coloring in my floor). My painter is coming in two days and I need to have an answer for him. Thank you!
