Did you move from one vaulted ceiling house to another? The 4 photos show 3 different rooms.

No. Same house just a little different angle. The small office wall was removed where the new header was installed.

I was just wondering, since it is not that big of a gap, have you considered adding a simple extended crown moulding to connect the cabinets to the ceiling?

Haha. No clue. The island was like that when we bought it and changed it immediately. We are going to do something at the top of the cabinets but just haven’t jumped on it yet. It will most likely be crown but don’t know about going all the way to the ceiling.
