So pretty! who says you cant plant under trees? I’ve done it, takes some patience and trial and error! Hope to see some more hosta from your gardens.

Sherry and Sandy, having limited shade, you have to do whatever you can to squeeze in more hostas lol. It was alittle tough on my back at times, but being a shorty has its advantages : ) I sure hope they do well, most were planted before a good rain….so only time will tell.

Those beds look terrific gardenho, now that you have the bug, we will look forward to seeing more hosta photos from you.

I've had a praying hands waiting to be planted in a container and then I saw that beautiful one posted with creeping jenny. Totally inspired me! So I stole some creeping jenny from my annual containers and planted them together…such dense roots I beat them up pretty bad. I’ll have to post when the poor thing recovers a bit.

Here is a bettter pic of the new bed. Much better lighting… didn’t realize how bad the other one was until I took this one…

GardenHo, really like your placements, you give hosta its own place but still surrounded by other perennials, wonderful skill and looks very organic.

Linda thank you so much. You know I’ve always loved the look of ‘massed’ plantings, yet I find myself always ‘spreading’ things out…then filling in the empty spaces with something else. Sometimes it works and other times it doesnt lol. For you to call it a skill, is a big compliment, thank you.
