We have a very tiny kitchen in an old craftsmen house so we expanded into our transition area with the pantry / coffee corner / fridge / microwave. We need advice with the trims. We are planning to put down new baseboards in the kitchen, and were thinking of matching them with the cabinet color. As we were expanding on the idea we thought we would put the same baseboard colors in the patty area since we have cabinets there too. But then we realized our door trims are currently white as well as the baseboards. (they were painted when we bought the house and could be a big project to change them all to wood and match the old doors which we want to keep unpainted. - Should we keep all trims white, paint all trims cabinet color (cream) or …. something else?
