Great to see you enjoying rebloom. Are deer less of a problem with rebloom? How is Bit of Jam fabulous? In terms of performance, bud count, color, rebloom? Your Kara Louise has more fuchsia tones than that of other pictures. Orange Blossom Trail is a lovely blend.

Mantis, deer still abound. I still have to spray. Yes to each of your questions about Bit of Jam. It had great bud count and bloomed for at least six weeks. The color was darker on first bloom-heat has lightened it on the rebloom. It has sent up four rebloom scapes. You are correct-Kara Louise is not as red as first blooms. It is currently on third rebloom cycle. Here it is on second rebloom.

Such great rebloom you have now! I cant believe all of the buds on Green Rainbow rebloom scapes, what a performer! Southern Cotton is lovely, I dont remember that one. Glad you are getting better blooms now.

You are getting so much rebloom. I think my favorite picture is of Orange Blossom Trail. That soft peachy pastel is dreamy.........Kara Louise, regardless of color, is pretty. I favor white edges on dark colors and it looks like that is what it is on all the photos I've seen of it. Unfortunately it's an ev so I'll just have to admire yours..........I like Southern Cotton too, but if it only clears up on rebloom it probably wouldn't work for me because reblooming daylilies aren't abundant here.........Your Hibiscus are certainly earning their keep. Are they the perennial Hibiscus Moscheutos which have the giant blooms?.......... Maryl

So nice to see all that rebloom. Lots of buds yet to open. Hibiscus looks great. I think we all at one time or another have one of those jungle beds.

I would agree that BIT OF JAM is having a good year. It is doing very well for me this year. It is also one that I moved 3 or 4 years ago and it seems to have settled in and liking its new location. I will have to look at my SOUTHERN COTTON to see how the blooms look. It has plenty of scapes but no blooms as of yet.

Nice to see you getting so much rebloom. I have been having quite a bit more this year too. I love Flight of Orchids and Southern Cotton. Too bad that blooms not always good. I need to make a note of that because it is just the form and look I love.

Sherry-yes, Green Rainbow consistently sends up reblooms with lots of buds. It will probably send up a third set before frost.

Maryl, i can’t be definitive about Southern Cotton’s plant habit yet. It is a new plant from last fall and first blooms may have been just that-first ever blooms! I do like it. And yes these are the perennial hibiscus. Blooms are very large. This is a new one I rescued from a clearance rack for a dollar that just bloomed-I am so glad it is a different color and has a much larger bloom.

Julia, I am slowly cleaning out that jungle bed. The back woods and vines have encroached so much it would be a much bigger job to redo and re-establish it in the same place. I am moving or giving away all plants in that bed and it will become “mowable” once again!

Nancy, I am glad you are getting rebloom. The first part of the season had some really bad blooms. I certainly would not judge Southern Cotton by this season!!

Wow, lots of nice rebloomers. But Wait.. and Moonlight Mischief are my favorites of these.

Looks like I'm not going to have rebloomers yet again this year. But so many of my seedlings are filling the gap between the "regular" season and the extra late VTs that I don't mind.

David, Bit of Jam and Passing Fancy have been the winners this year in my very small Bennett collection. Some got caught in the

”no scape” vortex!! Others had fewer buds.

Brad, you are having great gap blooms with your seedlings! You don’t need rebloom!!

What fabulous rebloom you're getting! Green Rainbow certainly has well-budded rebloom scapes. Flight of Orchids looks great in a trio, and Kara Louise just keeps going and going for you. The Susan Okrasinski bloom is lovely. Susan is a friend of mine by the way, and the flower looks as wonderful as she is. I have that one, but it didn't bloom this season. I didn't even know it was a rebloomer.

Great group of blooms, I love your pictures. Southern Cotton is very interesting and unusual. Memphis is so beautiful. I love the trio of Orange Blossoms and Susan O. with orange and yellow flowers under it.

Oh I just remembered my one seedling had 2 last year scapes, normal scapes, and.. only one but rebloom scape! And to think I wanted to move it out.

Debra, Susan Okrasinki did not rebloom last year. They are all mixed up this year. How neat that Susan is your friend!!

Nat, Memphis never disappoints! Funny about almost moving your seedling out! Sometimes they have different ideas!

Don't you just love that rebloom! My favorites today are Flight of Orchids and Southern Cotton. We had quite a few including a couple of favorite seedlings that had mostly bad bloom on the first set of scapes. If we get rebloom on those, I hope they improve like Southern Cotton. Our But Wait, There's More hasn't had much 'more' this season--mostly single blooms.
