Had a community well. You couldnt get enough water out of the kitchen faucet to fill up a coffee pot in 10 minutes if the neighbor was watering their grass.

Dug our own. It was OK, but not really deep enough to get into the really good aquifer. Pressure situation was fine, but the water treatment needed to get out the iron was a nuisance.

And went on city water as soon as it was offered.
