If the flower is fragrant, then it’s not a Patriot. Now is the time the fragrant hostas will be blooming. I am not sure what hosta that is without a bit of research. There are others who may know it right away.

That hosta is looking good. So Sweet is always a classic looking plant. I am going to return to the store tomorrow and dig deeper to see if I can find one with a tag. They had the sprinklers running last time and I was playing beat the clock trying not to get wet. Thank you for all your help.

I don't know about everyone else, but it is an excellent plant for warm/hot summers here in Texas. For me, when it's mature, it will flush two or three times in the spring. Each flush is more variegated than the first.

If my memory serves me right 'Sun Hosta" hosta (as seen on tag) (a hosta so great it had to be called hosta twice) was So Sweet renamed for the south as it does really well here. I was at Lowe's earlier and there was a new crop of 'Sun Hosta' hosta for our shopping pleasure. Of course, I bought one. Dead ringer. I am going to call the bigger one So Sweet and the smaller leaf ones its little sister the famed 'Sun Hosta' hosta.
