I wont try to talk you out of it. I am getting a bit tired of all the boring neutrals. Nice to hear that someone wants a bit of color in their life. I would go with a similar color as you already have, although, maybe a shade or two darker. What is the trim around those two windows that look like the shape of a house on your first picture. Can that all be removed, and just leave that side plain. The trim isnt very attractive. I do like the color you already have.

Our house has been pale yellow for the past year as we replaced our roof before painting and then had to wait until summer to continue. So now we have the colors picked out and I can't figure out how to do the trim.

• Dark teal (Sherwin Williams Moscow Midnight) with light teal (Thermal Spring) trim
• Each door will be a different color to hopefully stop incorrect deliveries: Deliberate Orange, Wood Violet, Major Blue

I can't figure out whether to have the door trim

• Be the same as the house trim (light teal)
• Be the same as the siding (dark teal)
• Match the door color

Traditional seems to be matching the main trim but I'm not sure if that would be too much/take away from the pop of the door color.

I'm not sure I like any of the door colors with that teal. I'd go with something more pastel. A blush or coral instead of orange or red. Something closer to Agapanthus for the purple, and a pale blue for the blue.

I love the dark teal, and like the idea of lighter teal trim, but I'd recommend doing some tests to ensure the color isn't too neon.

I get so happy when people paint their house a color. I just painted our basement Moscow Midnight, with a black ceiling. Thinking of painting the door a lipstick red. I think the Dark will make the doors pop more. I would lean to more of a yellow, red, and orange. But I would not stress over repainting a door. Have you tried using the Sherwin Williams visualizer? (she asks, never having done this herself.)
