water proof and lowest emissions

our basement flooded and we are not reinstalling the sub floor and laminate flooring. We want to put new flooring directly on concrete. We are considering polished concrete and this vinyl plank flooring. One of my concerns with vinyl plank is the gas off and dents etc…

Tile is THE lowest lifecycle cost, lowest emissions, and longest wearing, of any flooring choice. And cheaper in the end than a quality epoxy finished polished concrete. It's far far cheaper than a poor quality polished and epoxied floor that has to be redone to get it right too.

And be sure to use an anti-fracture membrane under the tile.
