Victory or Sum and Substance should fit the bill and be easy to find.

Look for some Tony Avent Hosta. (link to list of his hosta. They can be hard to find. Seabright Gardens has a good selection.) He's in zone 7 in Raleigh, NC and has bred hosta for that climate and long growing season. Also, fragrant hosta do well in the warmer climates. Guacamole is a proven fast growing fragrant hosta (it's pretty big). I believe both Victory and Sum and Substance are very large hosta. (View links for heights and widths.)

My suggestion is to figure out how large you want the hosta to be when mature. Also, do you you want variegated or solid color? You'll get better suggestions when you are more specific on what you want other than fast growing.

Peren and bkay aren’t lying when they say Sum & Substance is very large. I’m in z5b and it’s my largest hosta.

about 5 feet, front to back and side to side. Mine’s in morning sun and late afternoon sun.

Also, Abiqua Drinking Gourd does nicely with sun and can also get good sized (not like S &S tho)

Thanks for the suggestions so far. I have about 20 guacamole hosta around the edge of my yard so I'm looking for variegated hosta and far as the size I would like something 2 1/2-3 feet high and wide and a little different with nice shape.

On the front page of the Hosta Library, first column second line down, you can find Rawson’s Lists. You can see lists based on hosta characteristics such as leaf margins, streaked leaves and so on. This may help you.

Paul’s Glory grows in semi shade and afternoon sun for me. i have divided mine 3 Times and have large clumps in my yard

They are and they are beautiful but certainly will not be as tall as you requested.

I'm fine with something a little shorter as long as it's fast grower and from what I read it is. I love how they look.
