Hi!
I’ve read in many places the rules for selecting the dimensions of a chandelier according to the dimensions of a room but what are the rules when you want to add two chandeliers in a living room?
My living room has an odd hexagonal shape and I want to place two chandeliers, but I have no idea how to calculate the sizes for the two. The room is 31 long x 17 wide in the longest areas. Also considering that the height of the ceiling is 17.5 feet how low should I hang them? They are not going to be on top of any particular furniture but there are lots of windows in the space. And a beam in the center of the ceiling. Should that be a factor when hanging the chandeliers?
