I recently purchased a new Cub Cadet 42 inch rider. I am not new to riding mowers having owned and used several for many years. This one did not come with the mulching kit installed, it has a regular blade. I purchased the kit and have the mulching blades and the piece that blocks the opening. It's a real pain to remove the deck and replace the blades. Will it hurt the mower to use the regular blade until it's time to remove it for sharpening?

I don't care if the grass is not chopped as finely and leaves a clump here and there, this is a big open field I've mulch mowed it for years.
